Meet our team of three specialists veterinarians and two veterinary assistants trained in the UK,  mainland Europe, EEUU and Spain.

Carlos Macías Ldo Vet DSAS(Orthopaedics) Graduated in 1993 (Córdoba, Spain). He spent the following 12 years in the United Kingdom where he gained further qualifications in small animal surgery and worked for six years in one of the largest Referral Veterinary Centres in the UK (Willows Referrals, Solihull) . He is a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Diplomate in Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics) and a registered RCVS Specialist. He has published widely and frequently lectures at international level in the fields of small animal orthopaedics and neurosurgery.

 

Juan Miguel Ramírez León Ldo Vet Dipl. ECVS Juan Miguel graduated from the University of Córdoba (Spain) in 2005. After two years working in general practice, he moved to the UK in 2008 where he undertook a one year junior training scholarship at the University of Cambridge. In 2009 he moved to Belgium to complete a three year European College of Veterinary Surgeons approved residency program in small animal surgery at the University of Liege Small Animal Hospital. After that He stayed on as assistant professor in surgery until joining the Veterinary Referral Center Bahia de Malaga in 2013. He became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (Dipl. ECVS) in February 2017.

 

Maria Paz Gracia Lda Vet Cert Veterinary Dermatology Graduated in 1993 (Córdoba, Spain). With more than 12 years of experience working as a veterinary surgeon in the UK. She holds the Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology and has successfully run a Small Animal Dermatology Referral Service in the United Kingdom for more than six years. Her main interests are allergies, endocrinopathies, chronic otitis and feline dermatology.

Rafael Romero Gomez. Ldo Vet Graduated in 1998 from Cordoba University (Spain). In 1999-2000 he undertook an internship in the ultrasound service of the Ecole Nationale Veterinaire dAlfort (Paris). Since 2001 he holds an itinerant ultrasound service in M√°laga province and since 2013.

Victor Domingo Roa Ldo Vet Graduated from Cordoba University (Spain) in 2002. In 2003 he undertook an internship in Internal medicine and Diagnostic Imaging at Queen¬īs Veterinary Hospital (Cambridge University). In 2005 he joined the Tumoral Biomarkers team at Cordoba University. Founder member and member of the scientific committee of the Veterinary Oncology Group in Spain (GEVONC-AVEPA).
